What Is Konk?

Konk is a powerful, professional strength pyrethrin aerosol spray that can be used to kill many different flying and crawling insects. Most over the counter fly sprays or bug sprays contain a weak formulation of natural pyrethrins.

Pyrethrins is a collective name given to a group of insect killing agents which come from a flower known as pyrethrum. It looks like a daisy or chrysanthemum and is produced in Tasmania and some parts of Kenya.

Pyrethrum acts as a nerve toxicant on insects. It effectively makes the insect hyper-active and confused. Most oftern insects are just repelled from an area, but if they stay around they will die.

Konk will degrade when exposed to sunlight and therefore will not leave residues. Pyrethrin space and surface sprays are commonly used in homes and businesses but Konk Flying Insect Killer has an expanded label that allows use in restaurants, hotels, dairies, hospitals, milking rooms and other commercial food processing areas.

KONK ALSO WORKS ON: House Flies, Mosquitoes, Gnats, Stable Flies, Horse Flies, Face Flies, Deer Flies, Horn Flies, Fleas, wasps, flying moths, cockroaches, crickets, ants, spiders, carpet beetles, centipedes, silverfish, bed bugs. This pyrethrin spray can also be used for spraying cattle to kill certain flies.

The products have proven to provide effective control from a range of insect pests including beetles, flies, mosquitoes, ants, spiders,cockroaches, dust mites, silverfish and others.
